Meghan Markle is reportedly having 15-minute breaks in-between royal engagements during her Australia tour with Prince Harry.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have been slotting in rest periods into their busy schedule – despite them only being on day four of their trip.
The royal couple, who are expecting their first child in Spring, have 76 engagements planned across Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand over the course of 16-days.
It has been reported that the pair turned up 20 minutes late to their visit of the Sydney Opera House as they began their 16-day tour.
The parents-to-be then disappeared out the back of a hanger shortly after landing at Dubbo airport on their second day.
Representatives say that they were just “having a break” for 15 minutes, according to news.au .
Apparently the royal couple were late again for a community walk through Dubbo’s Victoria Park, where they arrived to stormy weather.
Harry delivered a speech as his pregnant wife held an umbrella over him, but again they reportedly disappeared for another 20 minutes.
And after thousands of people turned out for the royal appearance in Melbourne yesterday, the couple are said to have ran behind schedule due to “breaks added in for the expecting mother”.
Harry and Meghan were photographed in the city walking along a beach as they took a break.
The Australian news site has labelled Harry and Meghan’s 76-engagement visit as “exhausting”.
They dropped the announcement they are having a baby mere hours after they arrived in Australia on Monday.
While it is not confirmed if the “secret breaks” are because Meghan is pregnant, news.au reports she is “sensibly caring for her and Harry’s first child”.
